GALVANOL leaves a matte grey zinc finish. If you want a shiny, newly galvanized look and an extra layer of protection, the solution is ALINOL, the finish designed to go over GALVANOL.
What is ALINOL
An aerosol paint with special polymers, xylene, DME as a propellant, and aluminum flakes. The flakes align in layers and give a metallic shine similar to freshly hot-dip galvanized metal.
What is it used for
- Gloss finish over GALVANOL: improves aesthetics and adds a barrier.
- Cover zinc salts (the white powder that appears over time) on galvanized surfaces and surfaces treated with GALVANOL.
- Match the appearance of touch-ups on galvanized structures.
Technical data
- Solids: approx. 30% by weight (without DME).
- Density without propellant: 0.925 kg/dm³.
How to apply it
- Shake the aerosol well before use.
- Apply over GALVANOL at least 4 hours after the last coat.
- Full drying: 48–72 hours.
